Devil eye
The inside of my eye looks like the color of a cayenne pepper and feels about as bad as it looks. Should probably do something about it, but HULU beckons.

Toddlers=Constant Amusement
The lil cuz is about 14 months but so adult:
Shuns every button on a tabletop toy but the one that plays Mozart and the telephone
Instantly ceases to cry when offered “relaxing tea” and proceeds to voraciously slurp it down.

I'm not an anti-gift Grinch
but I feel like now is the time for me to set precedent of not being bound to give or harbor any expectation of gifts. If indeed me and a person within my inner circle shall find any particular item that is perfect for the other and has the resources, it will be given at the most convenient point and the recipient chooses their reaction. Etiquette, schm-etiquette. And none of that stupid...
Some could call it sour grapes,
but even if the scenario reversed and I got more than damn near nothing, my days of deriving joy from this season are probably over. If it truly felt like all the things it represented, I would be obliged, but I’ve barely been able to grasp any true emotion underneath the weight of commercialism and faux-togetherness.

while mentally calculating the net worth of the shiny pretty new things in paychecks and monthly increments
and knowing in the back of my mind their things will meet the demise of the damage, thieves, and general neglect not even before the new year meets its halfway...

Really love this video. A lot going on in the natural hair department. The high key lighting is just so beautiful. I’m willing to bet it was shot with a DSLR. I love that it’s not so huge on concept but still so fun.
